Copenhagen, Denmark

BUSTER is a unique festival for young audiences with focus on quality, diversity and dialogue. The festival offers a 14 day film and media programme for children and youth ages 3-16, focusing on new cinematic experiences, media literacy and interactivity as a core dimension for all activities. BUSTER was established in 2000 and presents more than 250 screenings, workshops and events every year.

Malmö, Sweden

BUFF is an exceptional film festival, because it is for everyone. Some are watching their very first movie in a cinema at BUFF. Some are screening their first feature film for the toughest and most honest critics, namely children. Some are inspired to tell stories with moving images themselves. Since 1984, BUFF Filmfestival has been one of the most important screenings venues for films for children and youth in the Nordic countries.

Kristiansand, Norway

Kristiansand Internasjonale Barnefilmfestival (Kristiansand International Children’s Film Festival – BFF) has, since its first edition in 1997, been Norway’s main arena for presenting new films for children and youth. The festival is organized in three cities in Southern Norway: Kristiansand, Arendal and Farsund. BFF offers a varied programme with around 100 films and with approximately 200 screenings.

Oulu, Finland
